MARTIN R COSTELLO
PERSONAL
A motivated and ambitious father of three, who has a passion for the haulage industry. Real petrol head, if it has wheels and an engine, I’m interested. Also love a good movie and listening to rock music.

My first professional driving job. I was employed as a seasonal driver, responsible for safe loading of LPG from petrochemical sites for delivery to fuel stations, haulage yards, working factories, chicken farms and rural domestic properties. Public safety was paramount due to the nature of the job, as was a good customer service attitude. I gained this position at the right time of year as the severe weather kept me busy for longer, but crucially the deep snow gave me an amazing education behind the wheel. Lessons learned here have stayed with me.
PAINTER AND DECORATOR
March 98 – Dec 08
After serving my apprenticeship, I went on to become self-employed working with and for various contractors. I have covered all aspects of my trade, I am also a very competent French polisher and spray painter. In the summer of 05 I took some time away from painting and done some multi drop van work, and also dabbled in sales, before returning to decorating.
