Software Engineer – Associate – London
Credit Technology provides quoting, execution and connectivity services for Credit market making business and trade execution with external venues.The role is within Credit Core Services Engineering team. The focus of the individual would be to work on server processes for Spread Dashboard. Spread Dashboard is a trader tool used by Spread business that provides a container to host widgets that expose pre-trade analytics, marking widgets and trade entry widgets. As part of the role, the developer will work with the extended team to source relevant data feeds and implement real time and historical event based processing. This includes working with real time data feeds providing external market data prices, trade executions, order books all in fixed income domain covering bonds and credit products. The role requires that the successful candidate be able to liaise with external parties to develop a solution with proper SDLC and resiliency. This role would demand attention to detail, understanding of Credit eTrading business and a good understanding of technical implementation.
The Client-Facing Technology team within CIB Fixed Income Spread Products Technology is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to work on building out analytics, relative value and trading applications for the company’s web platform, JPMorgan Markets. Hands-on professional experience with Java/J2EE and building RESTful services/APIs
Successful track record in developing re-usable and highly dynamic web applications in HTML5/JavaScript
Understanding of object oriented programming, data structures, design patterns
Working knowledge of messaging protocols and products
Working knowledge of SQL and databases
Competency in multi-threaded solutions
Excellent problem solving skills / ability to work well under pressure
Excellent communication skillsPreferred Skills:
Familiarity with financial instruments, especially with Corporate Bonds, CDS and Mortgage-Backed Securities
