Technology for Social Good, Diversity and Inclusion (TFSG D&I) focuses on fostering a more inclusive, diverse and innovative culture across Global Technology through strategic and social good programs that attract, develop, inspire and retain a highly engaged workforce. Current programmes include Force for Good, Code for Good, Youth Programs and Diversity & Inclusion.
This Global Lead role oversees the strategy, direction and execution of Force for Good. This 8 month development program aligns teams of JPMC technologists with socially focused organizations to build sustainable software solutions to advance the organization’s missions. As part of the two-year Technology Analyst Program (TAP), Force for Good provides JPMC’s new graduate technology talent with a practical experience to deliver sustainable cloud-based technology in an agile discipline. The program also provides experienced technologists with an opportunity to hone skills and mentor the junior technologists’ journey. The program ties closely to JPMC’s Global Technology Vision of Advancing You /Continuous Learning and aims to increase Agile and Cloud adoption more broadly across the firm.
In the Force for Good Global Lead role, the candidate will manage a global team of regional program managers and work closely with the internal partners and senior stakeholders in the following areas: Global Technology Organization, Global Technology Recruitment and Training teams, Global Philanthropy/Foundation, Marketing and Communications teams. The candidate will also have an external facing role of working closely with non-profits, social enterprises and other corporates running employee engagement pro-bono programs.
Activities
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, define the Vision and multi-year Roadmap for the program. Ensure buy-in and alignment on the model and path forward.
Review and revise the delivery model ensuring a sustainable resourcing model that meets the needs of internal and external participants
Oversee execution by and provide support to a team of FFG regional managers ensuring global adoption of program structure and framework with regional/site-based nuances as appropriate
Own the financial management of the program including budgeting and reconciliation across global markets
Define KPIs (in collaboration with internal partners) to measure and evaluate program outcomes; track and report against the KPIs to internal stakeholders.
Measure and communicate business value and impact of program on FFG participants’ change journey to Agile and Cloud adoption and Continuous Learning
Manage coordination between workstream owners across all regions and functional roles (Recruiting, Marketing, Philanthropy, Conference and Facility Services, Business Leads, Internal Business Units and Technology Participants)
Architect and ingrain sustainable, risk-sensitive governance program model between regional program managers, technology site ambassadors, agile coaches and participants
Develop delivery calendar and training content – partnered with internal JPMC SMEs – relevant to program objectives, specifically Agile and Cloud adoption
Partner with Recruitment, Employer Brand and TAP Program Management teams to ingrain program in recruitment journey and two-year full-time analyst program experience respectively
Identify, recruit and manage non-profit clients; working to source appropriately scoped projects and manage the relationships through our programs
Closely coordinate with other internal program owners (specific to training and development and employee recognition) and assist in the development of a comprehensive framework for employee engagement.
Develop and implement a communications plan to attract, engage and celebrate participants in our programs
Maintain strong relationships with Risk, Legal & Compliance to ensure that program risks are mitigated surrounding employee engagement and partnerships with participating organizations from a reputational, operational and technology perspective; conduct partner due diligence
Qualifications;
Proven track record of success with project and/or program management, risk and knowledge management
Strong Influencer, with excellent intrapersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Comfort with public speaking, leading webinars, large conference calls and comfortable being in front of and presenting to large audiences
Previous experience managing a team of globally distributed individuals
Technology experience (either in App Dev, Business Analysis, Infrastructure or Quality Assurance) is strongly preferred
Strong preference for background in delivery of largely scaled Training & Development program(s)
Experience in Agile Development and Cloud Adoption is preferred
Clear understanding of Risk, Controls and Compliance implications for program is required
Ability to leverage existing or quickly develop new networks of internal and external stakeholders to drive programs
Passion for non-profits and the social good sector, previous experience not a requirement but is preferred
Able to work autonomously, as well as a good team collaborator
Strategic as well as detail oriented, hands on
Ability to juggle multiple activity streams
Flexible and able to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Creative and comfortable with framing completely new concepts and programs, often forging through uncharted territory
