The Chief Data Office has a mandate set and actively supported at the board level to transform data
management towards demonstrable shareholder value. The Data Network Architecture (“D.N.A.”)
team has a firm wide remit to deliver a broad set of data management capabilities including the
overall functional and technical vision for data governance.
Description:
Accountable for meeting the lineage requirements of firmwide critical business initiatives, including
the capture and analysis of lineage metadata. Support the design, development and
implementation of a sustainable operating model for lineage.
Responsibilities:
Lineage Execution
Engage business and technology stakeholders to manually capture coarse grain lineage metadata
Perform data quality checks, identify and resolve issues, and integrate with other data management tools and information
Analyse data flows and partner with critical business initiative stakeholders to develop key deliverablesOperating Model
Design and document lineage capture processes and develop guidelines and best practices
Develop and implement communications, training and guidance for users of the lineage capabilities developed by D.N.A.
Engage users and provide feedback and business requirements for the development of manual lineage capabilitiesQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Information Systems
3+ years of related work experience
Outstanding verbal and written communications
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Proactive in identifying issues and recommending solutions
Motivated to work effectively in a high pressure work environment
Experience in Data Management, Data Strategy or Big Data a plus.
