Key achievements:
• Project manager investigating feasibility to reducing storage depots for hard building materials, to reduce costs.

• Planning daily routes for fifteen class 1 HGV’s
• Negotiating and pricing direct deliveries with customers and sub-contractor where unable to fulfil the order in-house

• Planning deliveries of the products to customer sites and depots.
Key achievements:
• Integrating two new block paving factories, Ashington and Burton on Trent into the transport network to ensure that they operate efficiently.
• Assisting in the transfer of in house transport function to TDG, helping to ensure continuity of service to customers.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Countrywide Farmers PLC, selling LPG, Kerosene and Gasoil to domestic and commercial customers. Role involved:
• Responsibility for all aspects of managing and maintaining a Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) fleet of ten vehicles.
• Arranging deliveries of LPG to domestic and commercial customers with vehicles on multi-drop schedules.
• Optimising the fleet to its maximum potential, whilst maintaining service and delivery commitments.
• Managing ADR drivers.
• Ensuring customer expectations are maintained and exceeded.
• Planning routes using Paragon planning tool.
Key achievements:
• Developing a system of scheduling deliveries to customers based on their annual usage making allowance for seasonal variations in usage. William planned delivery schedules based on usage and geographic location. This helped the company to offer a fit and forget service to manage their supply.
As this is generally for heating and other important services it’s essential that this worked efficiently.
