Responsibilities:
The delivery and collection of company’s equipment from sites across region. the safe loading and unloading of vehicle and to ensure kit is loaded and strapped safely to carry on public highways.
To conduct daily vehicle checks as per company requirements. To ensure a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained. To comply with all aspects of Health & Safety.
Accomplishments:
Continued training to achieve CPC standards. Slingers ticket. Trained to Fors standard for cross rail work. Continue to drive company health & safety and customer service standards.
Skills Used:
A good level of driving skill is required as some of drops or collections can be in extremely demanding areas. Good knowledge of loading a vehicle correctly and safely as kit is large heavy and dangerous to carry. The ability to work under my own initiative whilst still operating under all company guidelines. A good knowledge of road network local and further a field.

Working for a general haulier so work was varied day to day so had to be very adaptable as day to day loads changed in shape and size massively. lots of multi drop work nationally and locally so gained a good knowledge of the UK. Carrying anything from palletised goods to steel out of TATA to large water and sewerage tanks so also gained a good foundation of how to strap and sheet all sorts of different loads.
