WORK EXPERIENCE

HGV Class 1 Driver
Self Employed – Vienna & UK – 2001-09 – Present
At age 60 have over 40 years’ experience in the logistics industry. I have international driving experience majoring in JIT deliveries in Airfreight to End Users and European Airports and automotive parts deliveries to BMW, Mercedes, Porsche and Opel.
Based at Vienna International Airport I have delivered Bonded Time Sensitive Airfreight to Amsterdam Schiphol, Brucargo (Brussels), Frankfurt (Cargo City Nord u. Sud) Paris Charles De Gaulle and London Heathrow.
I have delivered chemical based products throughout Europe as well as industrial machinery and groupage. Of course over the years I have delivered the occasional out of the ordinary load and whilst some proved a little challenging, they continue to provide a source of some amusement despite the attendant pressures to ensure a timely and complete delivery.
My focus is to drive in the UK however I am not interested in Multi Drop Deliveries or deliveries to Supermarket shops. I am better suited to working in the industrial sector. Long Distance driving is my preferred role however I would also consider any driving position that required additional skills.

Never “Claused Out”, never had an accident and always keep customers up to date with delivery times. I am competent with a Map and speak German, French and Spanish.
