HGV Class 1 Driver

On behalf of our client we require Class 1 container & curtain sider tramper drivers operating on days Monday to Friday. We are also looking for day and night drivers on container and curtain sider work. Containers will be collected from Hull dock and transported to client’s location in the Midlands and North of England, tipped and empty run back to the dock. Drivers will be operating in brand new wagons which are Left Hand Drive, so LHD experience is essential for this role. Container experience would also be beneficial but candidates will be considered for training if they do not have the required experience.

Applicant requirements :

CE Entitlement on UK driving licence
Digi Card
DQC
Minimum 6 months experience on CE equipment in UK
Maximum 6 minor points
No DR/DD/CD endorsements.
We welcome Ltd Company, Sole Trader, umbrella drivers and PAYE. Candidates must be aware that there may be an opportunity for successful candidates to go perm with the client after 12 weeks in which case the client will only accept PAYE employees.

We offer competitive rates on pay and night out allowances.
