The Best Connection are currently seeking a HGV class 1 driver, that has a keen interest in working within our established client in Cranbrook.

The role itself involves the delivery of farm produce to farms and supermarkets throughout the UK. Candidates can expect to be completing 1-4 drops per day, which will be a mixture of deliveries and collections.

Please be aware that throughout the clients quiet periods, you may be required to operate a class 2 vehicle, which you will be required complete 1-5 drops per day, again consisting of a mixture of deliveries and collections.

The typical day will require you to begin your shift at 04:00, ensuring that you sign in, and that all vehicle checks are completed accordingly. You will then be handed your delivery notes and be given the opportunity to clarify any queries before commencing duties.

The shift patterns will require you to work Monday-Friday each week. All candidates must be flexible, as peak periods will require you to work every other Saturday or Sunday.

Please note: This role is a temp to perm, therefore you will be working for the company through ‘The Best Connection’ for 12 weeks, before being transferred directly onto the clients books.

Pay Rates (During Temp to Perm period)
Monday-Friday: £11.50 per hour
Monday-Friday (After 8 hours): £12.00 per hour
Saturday: £13.00 per hour
Sunday: £15.00 per hour

**Minimum of 8 hours pay per day applies**

Pay Rates (After Temp to Perm period)
Monday-Friday: £11.00 per hour
Saturday: £14.00 per hour
Sunday: £19.00 per hour

**Minimum of 50 hours pay per week applies**

Please be aware that we welcome Limited Company drivers, but you will not be able to work for the company directly through the Limited Company.
