Taskmaster Resources LTD are URGENTLY looking HGV Class 1 day/night drivers to work for our client based in Sheffield (S9)

Mainly working for Mon – fri and have the flexibility for weekend work as it increases over peak periods. After you complete the induction/drive and site assessment you will be booked onto a shift and then put to work with a modern fleet of vehicles, making deliveries mainly between RDC’s completing trunk runs only.

HGV Class 1 Day/Night drivers – Guaranteed 52.5hrs minimum..!!

Pay:

Days £14.01 (min of 10.5hrs per shift)
Nights £15.01 (Min of 10.5hrs per shift)
any work over 52.5hrs will attract overtime paid @ £22.01
Due to insurance purposes we require you to have held your licence for a minimum of 9 months and have been driving within that time and be able to prove this to the client.

Shifts will vary between 8 – 10 hour could be more depending on the run.

Hold a valid Category C+E (Class 1) HGV/ LGV entitlement.
MINIMUM OF 9 MONTHS CLASS 1 EXPERIENCE
Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card (Digi Card).
Have no more than 6 points on your license; DR DD IN endorsements are NOT accepted.
Hold a full CPC.
Be Polite and Pleasant.

Responsibilities:

Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
Transport goods to designated locations, primarily using flatbed trucks, while maintaining delivery schedules.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
Keep accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
