What will you be doing?

These exciting roles will include:Conducting daily pre-trip checks on vehicles and reporting any defects
Driving an HGV Class C+E vehicle in a safe manner and working in accordance with safe systems of work and risk assessments
Transporting stock that is mainly stored in cages and metal boxes but also some loose items such as vehicle bumpers etc.
Completing successful deliveries of car parts in a timely manner
Providing an excellent standard of customer service
Adhering to Driver Working Time Regulations and Road and Traffic Laws
The runs for these amazing positions include driving to the following locations:Doncaster/Lincoln
Harrogate/Knaresborough/York/Malton/Scarborough
Sunderland/Newcastle/Gateshead
Whilst working in this position you will be driving new trucks with built in Sat Nav and Climate Control Air Con!

***Start times for this vacancy are 00:00am with a minimum 10 hour pay guarantee***

We are looking for someone who has done these kind of start times before & Live within West Yorkshire

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will:Hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence as well as a DIGI Card and CPC qualification.
Must have a minimum of 6 months experience driving a Class 2 vehicle.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate great time keeping and reliability.
Show a good use of initiative and self-motivation.
Have a flexible approach to work.
Show an awareness of Health and Safety procedures as well as Road and Traffic laws.
Pay rates are as below:Monday to Friday-£16.00ph guaranteed 10hrs pay
Full time this is a salary of £38,340 per annum
All Drivers pay rates are based on PAYE, we do not accept LTD or Umbrella companies.

On top of the Hourly rate, you will accrue Holiday pay, which on average is based on 2 days a month on a 40hr week, Holidays are NOT paid in advance to make the rate look higher. You are enrolled into an optional Pension scheme that can be opted out & SSP is paid if any sickness after a certain period of working time.
