Are you looking for ongoing driving work?
Pertemps are currently recruiting several Class 1 Drivers (C+E) to work on a regular ongoing basis for our client based in Newark. Some night outs will be required during the week. You will be required carry out trunk runs and deliver goods to distribution centres or carry out trailer swaps.

What will I be expected to do?

Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods and materials.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
Secure cargo using straps, chains, and tarps as needed
Follow all traffic laws and regulation
Communicate with dispatch to receive delivery instruction
Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
What shifts and start times are available?
We have day shifts starting between 05:00- 0700 and nights starting from 16:00 onwards.

How much will I be paid as a HGV Driver?
Days – £14.00ph
Nights – £15.00ph

Which skills or experience do I need to apply?

1 Years minimum Class 1 experience
Category C+E (HGV 1) on your licence
Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
No DR10’s No CD10’s No IN10’s – no more than 6 points to Apply:
