The Role of HGV Driver:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a HGV Driver to join our Transport Team. Reporting to our Transport Compliance Manager and working from our Dundee Depot, you will drive one of our various HGV vehicles to deliver and collect plant and accommodation to and from customers premises. This role is essential in providing excellent service to our customers.

Key area’s of responsibilities will include:

Supervising the loading of the vehicle so that products are safely loaded and correct against the customers’ orders.
Ensure that the arrival and delivery of the goods is safe and respect the customer’s property.
Check goods off with customer and obtain a time and signature on a delivery form.
Drive the vehicle safely in accordance with the law.
Report damages, safety issues, accidents, or any other significant problems to the Group Transport Manager.

We require our HGV Driver applicants to have the following skills/qualifications and experience:

You will have your HGV Cat C+E Licence (Essential)
Hiab ticket. Essential
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Flexible approach to work
Good time management
Safety conscious
Good geographical knowledge of Scotland
Experience in a similar role
Advantageous skills;

Experience of plant/accommodation hire
IPAF
ADR Preferred
