As the Head of Media, you’ll report directly to the Marketing Communications Director and be an integral part of the Group Brands and Marketing Senior Leadership Team.
You’ll have the remit of using insight and expertise to lead our media portfolio and ensure that we’re optimising across time, channel and customer segment.
You’ll own the media centre of excellence internally – consulting and sharing methodology with our Marcomms teams to ensure colleagues are up to date with developments in the media marketplace that influence campaign planning.
Specifically you’ll hold a key role to make a difference on projects where we’re breaking new ground in emerging technologies and media planning and buying approaches as we transform our marketing to be more data and digitally led.
In such a high-profile role within this large enterprise you’ll have numerous internal and external partners and relationships with key decision makers.
Internally you’ll work closely with our Marketing Performance and Optimisation team to understand how media channels are performing for our brands and to constantly optimise, improve and share learning.
Externally you’ll own the strategic relationship with our principal media agency and broader media owners, ensuring good value and access to opportunity and innovation whilst actively involved in any media partnership negotiations.
You’ll already be a commercially brilliant and well-connected media authority – ideally having worked in a very senior client media role within a leading media agency. In-house experience within a large multi-channel, multi-brand organisation with access to media spends in excess of £90m+ would be helpful also.
You’ll be adept at media planning as well as developing media strategies to meet the needs of dynamic enterprise-scale marketing organisations whilst appreciating the changing role of data in media selection.
