Central Finance aims to help tell the story of Lloyds Banking Group’s performance both externally and internally. The team aims to give real insight to influence strategic decision-making and ensure clear and compliant communication of financial information.
Would you like the opportunity to gain greater exposure to the financial reporting of one of the country’s largest financial institutions?
This is a role within Group Financial Reporting for a 12 month fixed term contract period.
In this role you would assist in the smooth running of our Financial consolidation on a quarterly basis, which includes:
• Reconciliation and reporting of the Group’s income statement;
• Understanding, reporting and explaining movements in numbers;
• Preparing detailed statutory disclosures and internal analyses; and
• preparing elements of our FINREP submissions
• Responding to ad hoc financial reporting queries
And you’d be involved in preparing:
• Consolidated financial reporting, including report and accounts, press releases and US reporting (on Form 20-F) for the Group
• Statutory accounts and results announcements for Lloyds Bank plc, HBOS plc and Bank of Scotland plc
• Reporting to the PRA under FINREP
Ideally you’ll be a qualified accountant with experience of financial consolidations, good systems skills and the ability to work well in a small team.
