Transport Administrator

An opportunity has arisen for an office based Transport Administrator role with LA Lockhart Ltd – based in Carterton, Oxfordshire.

Competitive Salary.

Driving Experience of HGV Vehicles is desired but not essential.

Previous experience as a transport manger/administrator may be advantageous but not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic person who is willing to learn and to compliment a busy and friendly team.

You will need to have a good vehicle knowledge and have working knowledge of transport and driving regulations.

Manage all driver related issues including performance, attendance and accident investigations.

Deal with drivers’ infringements and take appropriate action.

Be able to liaise with fitters regarding the ordering of new parts when necessary.

Ensure the Transport department meet all relevant transport and health and safety legislations.

Hold a CPC or be willing to work towards one.

Hold a current driving Licence.

Have good communication skills, both verbal and written at all levels internally and externally

Have good working knowledge of IT Systems

Be able to deal with issues and problems on an AD-Hoc basis

Carry out general administration work and work alongside the Director when required

Good working conditions.

Hours are 7am – 5pm
