Were expanding our delivery team at our Gatwick Branch and are looking for a dependable HGV Driver to help us continue delivering excellent service to our trade and retail customers.

The Role

We are currently looking for a skilled HGV Driver to join our team for maternity cover at our Gatwick branch. In this role

As our HGV Driver, youll be the face of our business on the road. Youll deliver building materials to sites and homes, ensuring timely and safe drop-offs while providing top-notch customer service, no overnight delivery’s giving you a better work life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate HGV Class 2 vehicle for multi-drop deliveries
Load/unload goods (HIAB crane use if certified)
Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects
Maintain accurate delivery records and tachograph data
Uphold health & safety standards at all times
Represent the company with professionalism and courtesy

What Youll Need*

Valid HGV Category licence
CPC qualification desirable
HIAB (preferred, training available)
Experience in multi-drop or builders merchants (advantageous)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Physically fit and safety-conscious
Hours

Week 1 Monday to Friday 07:30-16:30

Week 2 Monday to Friday 07:30-16:30 Saturday 08:00-12:00

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it).
