Our Notes, Certificates and Warrants are purchased by clients in locations across Europe and the Middle East including Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, UK and Scandinavia.
The role provides the opportunity to gain invaluable insights into Investment Bank Middle Office operations and related systems across a wide range of asset classes, with unique exposure to Front, Middle and Back Office teams and external agents. It also presents an excellent platform for leveraging the knowledge and expertise gained through related roles such in marketing support, trader assistant, trade support, or projects, among others.
Key Responsibilities:
Controlling the middle office pre-trade approvals process for the issuance of securitised derivatives.
Liaising with various pre-trade approval entities and departments such as Legal, Treasury, Compliance, Risk Management teams, London Control Room, Investment Bankers, and senior business heads.
Communicating with various agencies such as Bloomberg, Telekurs, and Reuters; communicating with back office settlements, Clearstream and Euroclear; liaising with local agents to assist with the issuance of securities in local markets.
Booking trades – Issuer, risk management and dealing entities directly into the traders’ risk books ensuring that profit and loss, delta etc remain tightly controlled.
Dynamically prioritising a variety of important tasks in short timeframes to deliver timely and accurate service while maintaining controls and managing risks.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with other teams including Marketers, Approvers, Risk Management Middle Offices and Back Office settlements.
Identifying and enhancing controls in line with ever changing Regulatory requirements.
Facilitate the move to a new technology infrastructure (Pyramid Evo)
Issuing notifications of events to Exchanges and Paying Agents in a timely mannerSkill Set Required
