J.P. Morgan Custody provides Institutional investors access to markets worldwide for the settlement, safekeeping and asset servicing of securities, along with ancillary services such as Foreign Exchange and Liquidity Solutions. This product suite, along with our Markets business, helps us service our core client segments: Asset Managers, Asset Owners, Insurance/GSEs, Banks/Broker Dealers and Hedge Funds and Alternatives. Fund services provides specialized expertise in accounting and administration of a broad range of fund types. A brief snapshot of services are, Fund accounting/administration, act as fiduciary for European funds, provide distribution support and shareholder record keeping services.
Role & Responsibilities:
The role focuses on the change and program needs across CFS Operations globally. Some of the key responsibilities include:
Manage and execute complex projects and ensure that project deliverables are met with the appropriate due diligence
Partners with a number of groups including the product, product development, operations technology and finance
Provide transparency with the execution of a communication plan on project delivery as it related to being on schedule, on budget with proper risk mitigation
Identify and facilitate issue resolutions and escalate where applicable
Business process re-engineering
Help analyze system infrastructure and existing process flows to determine gaps or opportunities for productivity improvements
Monitor, track and report project milestones and timeline
Participating in meetings at the operational and project level, providing continuous feedback on project status, UAT Management
Understanding the business, products and infrastructure
Ability to represent team in key senior Project Delivery meetings
Produce summary presentations and overview materials for program stakeholders
One of the key projects the person will lead is STP Optimization program for Custody & Fund Services. The programs covers defining a methodology for gathering information across asset types and functions, covering trade capture and lifecycle events, initiate & execute a pilot and analyze the information gathered under the eight level methodology thereby yielding the findings & tangible actions
Skills:
Strong experience of working on large scale, multi-stream programs with proven track record in streamlining operational process to reduce operating costs and/or increase processing capacity.
Ability to work closely with business partners and interact with all staff levels
Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work Strategic thinking coupled with practical execution
Strong analytical and problem solving skills including taking the initiative to drive change and enhance controls
Ability to manage through a changing business landscape Anticipate issues and aggressively drive initiatives to ensure results
Self-starter and ability to learn quickly
People and Communication:
Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills including the ability to communicate strategic messages clearly and consistently with the team, making linkages to individual goals and accomplishments

Business and Subject Matter Knowledge:
Knowledge in Custody and/or Fund Services
Subject matter expertize in transaction life cycle processing including trade capture and asset servicing
Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Projects
Education and Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
