Our business
The Equity Exotics trading team is responsible for trading all equity exotic products on EMEA equity indices and single stocks with global clients. The team risk manages large portfolios of single stock exotics options, index exotic options, illiquid equity indices, correlation products, equity hybrids, and algorithmic trading strategies.
Opportunity
The opportunity is to join the trading team as a senior trader on the equity exotics trading book, responsible for the equity index correlation business
Key responsibilities:
Pricing equity exotic structures for sales and clients
Risk managing of equity exotic portfolios
Working with PnL and Market Risk teams to substantiate daily risk and PnL
Working with Quantitative Research on building models for new exotic structuresRequirements
The role requires a highly motivated equity exotics trader with previous experience in trading equity index correlation structures
Essential skills
Strong understanding of equity exotic products and equity correlation
Strong understanding of derivatives pricing models
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesThis role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
