Custody and Fund Services provides middle office, custody, accounting and administration services for fund managers including mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity, real estate funds, pension funds and fund of funds.
Job Description
The successful candidate will join the EMEA Custody Product Management Team within Investor Services. The custody product management team is the core management function to drive business results and define the product and target client strategy. The team is also responsible for streamlining the operating model to drive efficiencies and enhance controls and managing the profitability of the product. In the role of EMEA Custody Product Analyst, key responsibilities will include:
Partner with Sales through deal cycles, including pipeline management, prepare RFP responses, pricing reviews, client pitch, and legal negotiations
Define and implement product and target client strategy based on our client needs and market competition
Define and deliver on revenue targets for the business
Assess operating model changes, to determine optimal future state models in partnership with Product Development
Partner with the Client Service and Sales to deliver client communication on market or product changes and ensures a positive client experience
Input and support of client transitions in partnership with the Product Development and Implementations team
Participate/lead custody client escalation and business issues resolutionQualifications
Analytical skills, problem solving, good critical thinking and decision-making skills based upon fact and business/industry knowledge
Sound understanding of the Investor Services business and Custody product features is preferable
Good communication, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships both internally and with external clients; executive presentation skills
Good understanding of the Asset Manager and Banking segments and corresponding client behaviours
Leadership: accountability for Custody strategic deliverables and able to act as an effective team player in a dynamic environment
Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast paced environmentThis role encompasses the performance of regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the relevant regulatory authorities to carry out such activities.
