Our business
The Product Management and Platform Development Team forms part of JP Morgan’s Equity Derivatives Group (EDG) in leading the product strategy for the platforms used by sales, trading and external clients to support the end-to-end lifecycle of the business (from product creation, sales & distribution, execution and hedging, downstream processing, risk management, P&L, to controls & regulatory compliance). This includes leading commercial opportunity assessment, defining product strategy, product design, resource alignment and leading end-to-end implementation including overseeing technology governance. This also includes leading strategic high value business transformation initiatives that require dedicated senior level end-to-end program management, involving commercial opportunity assessment, resource planning/alignment across all impacted functional areas, project planning and implementation including obtaining all necessary internal approvals (NBIA etc).
Opportunity
We are looking for a senior Vice President level resource to join the EMEA EDG Product Management and Platform Development Team. The responsibilities of the role include defining and driving the implementation strategic product initiatives for the EDG business. The role will require working with various business and stakeholders include representatives from Front Office, Technology, Operations, Legal, Business Management and control functions to ensure effective product implementation and governance. The role will be part of the Equities Front Office but will report directly into the Global Head of Equities Business Management. Job Background/context:
Close partnership with EDG Sales, Trading and Structuring to understand business opportunities and gaps, and to develop and validate business cases in support new initiatives
Lead the end-to-end implementation for new initiatives, including stakeholder management at forums of all levels of seniority.
Work collaboratively with colleagues on detailed analysis of processes and workflows to develop and deliver strategic platform and product solutions for EDG and its clients.
Development of business requirements, technical specifications, implementation and test plans in partnership with the respective business users and technology teams
Establish appropriate governance covering virtual teams across functions to drive change through the organization for the new business to be supported as defined
Help develop robust control processes and procedures to ensure appropriate processes and approvals are in place
The role will have extensive interaction with the global and regional business leads for the Equity Derivatives bus units. This role will be based in London and may require some global travel as and when necessary.Skills & Qualifications

Proven, highly organized and disciplined project management skills and experience developed from handling the delivery of large scale projects in complex operating environments
Strong problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to identify and manage project related risks and issues
Prior product knowledge in Equity Derivatives, Cash Equities, Prime Brokerage or similar products and/or detailed operational experience supporting the business preferred
Able to demonstrate knowledge and appreciation of system architecture and technology capabilities from both a tactical and strategic viewpoint
Experience interacting with senior level business sponsors and proven influencing skills to help understand, support as well as challenge regulatory interpretation
Strong team player with a proven ability to function within a high energy and tempo environment that is heavily delivery focused
