Our Business
Institutional Fixed Income (FI) Sales position. Covering Global Credit clients in multiple jurisdictions on all credit and credit derivative products in OTC markets .
Opportunity
Join the desk working and become a part of the FI Sales team.
Key responsibilities:
Assisting senior members of the team with marketing of existing FI products
Coverage/ Co-Coverage with Senior members of the team of asset managers and financial institutions
Develop and pitch trade ideas to clients
Collaborate with our trading desks in managing clients flows and advise on market conditions
Close cooperation with JPM Syndicate and our EMTN Desk and distribution of fixed income assets into our client franchise
Assisting on pricing and execution of transactions.Requirements
Experience in a markets-based role, preferably in Credit or fixed income
Familiarity with the fixed income market participants in Germany/Austria & Switzerland
Excellent technical skills, CFA preferred
Ability to understand complex topics and products and explain them to other parties
Ability to think on a strategic level and identify future opportunities for business growth
Essential skills
Fluent English and German speaker
Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint proficiency
Bloomberg and analytical functions
Detail oriented and motivated
Strong communication skills
Excellent time management ability.
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
