Department Description 
The CIB Data Privacy function is accountable for developing and implementing data privacy practices to create an industry-leading privacy environment. The program scope continues to evolve and encompasses cultural, behavioral, procedural and systemic transformation globally across the full range of CIB businesses for both individuals and corporates.
 
Background
 
The successful candidates will join a team focused on the transformation of data privacy within the CIB and be responsible for supporting the strategy and execution of Privacy Regulation and Policy, along with implementing and supporting day to day privacy governance for the CIB.
 
The role will require working with stakeholders across the CIB, looking to leverage best practice across the industry and other J.P. Morgan business units.  
 
Key roles and responsibilities:

Implement and enforce high quality program management practices across multiple projects in the Privacy group.

Create and deliver program communications, both internal and external.

Prepare materials and participate in monthly privacy committees, working groups, and forums and be able to provide insightful actions in those sessions.

Perform quality control of PMO materials and communications.

Track program/project plans and dependencies across programs and other work streams.

Track RAID and action items to closure

Maintain and develop the Privacy SharePoint and Intranet sites

Adhoc reports and presentations

Support the implementation of new privacy processes, supporting the implementation of the new European privacy regulation (GDPR).

With Privacy compliance understand global privacy regulations as they relate to the CIB.

Support the implementation of new Privacy policy implementation globally; including impact assessments, detailed workshops, creation of new governance models, procedures and inventories.Skills Required  

Overall 5+ years in a similar role

Strong attention to detail

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Excellent communication, presentation (both oral and written) & influencing skills to MD level

Confidence in communicating internally at all levels; candidate will be dealing with stakeholders of varying degrees of seniority (up-to Managing Director level) across Corporate/Firmwide, Finance, Risk, Compliance , Operations, Legal and Technology teams.

Effective change management skills. Ability to support & adopt within a changing environment.

Self starter, able to work autonomously, with strong time management skills; efficient at multi-tasking and able to work under pressure to deliver multiple business demands on-time, to a high standard

Basic understanding of the company’s business practices and familiarity with the company’s products and services

Capacity to think laterally and convey an understanding of the big picture

Strong practical experience of Microsoft Excel,  PowerPoint, Word etcThis role is a an outstanding opportunity within JPMorgan and will offer the candidate the opportunity to join a high profile team and take a partnership role within the CIB Data Privacy group to support a significant program.
