The Capital Markets Team is responsible for Institutional Investor Sales and Structuring. This position will be based in London and represents a critical role in executing the firm’s ambitious funding strategy in the UK and Continental Europe. It is a unique and exciting client-facing opportunity in a rapidly growing and commercially-oriented team.

The Role

• Assist in devising the strategy and structure of specific global Capital Markets transactions/ across each of our funding channels (Funds, ABS and Direct Lending) and investor base (Banks, Asset Managers, Insurance Companies, Pension Funds and Sovereign Wealth Funds)
• Lead the execution of trades; including but not limited to the negotiation of legal contracts, answering prospective investor queries and project managing all internal processes and stakeholders
• Originate and incubate direct relationships with a variety of European professional investors (especially in Germany and The Netherlands), ranging from Family Offices through to Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Banks and Insurance Companies.
• Arrange and run due diligence sessions for new investors
• Manage ongoing communications with a range of existing and new investors
• Work closely with the broader global Capital Markets, Risk & Analytics, Local MDs, Marketing and Communications teams as well as with external advisors and vendors

The Candidate

• 6+ years’ experience in an investments bank or asset manager with fixed income knowledge
• Dutch language is a must
• Comfortable reviewing legal documents and analysing financial models
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with very strong attention to detail
• Confident, presentable and able to interact directly and autonomously with a wide variety of investors and stakeholders
• Ambitious, dedicated and excited about working with highly motivated and smart individuals in an entrepreneurial environment
