Job summary
The Business Analyst will be supporting the Chief Administrative Officer of the UK Funds Business and also working closely with the UK Funds business heads, sales teams and support functions across a range of strategic and tactical distribution initiatives to help deliver the growth plans for the UK Funds Business in 2018 and beyond. This is a key role for an individual looking to develop their knowledge of the distribution side of the business, partnering with other key teams to help drive sales.
The role
The successful applicant will be a key member of the team aiding in the governance and management of the business; reporting of progress; communications; planning, implementation and coordination of initiatives. Below is a list of key tasks:
Coordinate UK Funds Management Committee meetings – core and extended – weekly, monthly and quarterly as required
Draft, agree, distribute agendas
Review attendee list
Schedule updates from business partners
Maintain “Key Dates” document
Take and distribute minutes in a timely manner
Maintain the action tracker, requesting updates where/when appropriate; close items out
Store all documents on the management team sharepoint site
Maintaining the UK Funds sharepoint site
Calculate and report on UK Funds market share (monthly)
Update the “Simplify For Growth” UK Funds tracker (monthly)
Write and distribute UK Funds update email/newsletter (weekly)
Produce Sales Executives report (weekly)
Co-ordinate/compile business update presentations for various Boards (quarterly) in partnership with the Finance and Business Management Team
Produce and update senior management presentations (quarterly business reviews, sales conferences, induction deck, other key slides such as sales updates/financials) in partnership with the Finance and Business Management Teams
Coordinate Asset Management Philanthropy & Volunteering Committee meetings (monthly)
Draft, agree and distribute agendas
Maintain action tracker
Take and distribute minutes in a timely manner
Provide support to the Business Oversight Manager and Sales Support Team as required
The candidate
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and support ad hoc requests, as well as keeping up with day-to-day responsibilities. Attention to detail is key given the high level of interaction with senior stakeholders as is prioritisation.

Experience
Ideally the candidate should have a minimum of 1 year experience in Asset Management and will either have passed or be studying for the IMC qualification or similar.
