Primary
purpose:             To manage UK,
pan-European and single country events

Reporting
to:                     VP, Senior Event
Manager, EMEA

Key Responsibilities:

Working with key
UK stakeholders to determine their event requirementsCoordinating
non-deal roadshows including scheduling, venue agreements, catering &
AV requirements, event manifests, speaker liaison and post event summaries
Advising UK stakeholders
on compliance and internal processes Coordinating all
aspects of event planning and logistics including:Building and
communicating a clear process and plan for every eventBriefing
registration sites and invitations Managing the
invitation process, attendee manifests and all delegate management
aspects  Site research
and negotiation of vendor contractsCoordination of
logistical and audio visual requirementsOn-site event
management (some travel will be required)Logistics for
speakers (hotel & ground transportation)Coordination of
print and marketing collateral Manage and
support UK events, including roadshows and smaller BAU eventsEnsuring all
relevant activity is logged and monitored with Compliance and Audit
requirementsSupporting and
developing follow-up process for all eventsBudget
management and invoice reconciliationEvent reporting,
tracking and feedback managementMinimum job requirements  

Experience in event management
experience within a corporate environment (financial or professional services)Degree and/or marketing qualificationsProven planning and project management
skills. Well organised and able to manage a number of deadline oriented
projectsExcellent communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills with an
ability to work well with clients and vendorsAbility to mix strategic thinking with
practical applicationStrong attention to detailAbility to work under pressure.
All internal moves will normally take place on
the same grade and same salary. Salaries are reviewed annually in
February. Exceptions to the rule regarding transfer on current salary
may include a move between geographic locations.
