ETF Business:
The Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) Business sits within the Beta Strategies organization. It is a dedicated team of experienced professionals who work to develop, launch and distribute UCITS and 40 Act ETFs in Europe and in the USA. We are executing a focused ETF product strategy that spans asset classes, including equities, fixed income and alternatives. The ETF business leverages the firm’s numerous competitive advantages, including industry leading research and investment insights.
Role:
This position will work very closely with the broader distribution organization to help drive and build our ETF assets and revenue growth across the UK. This position will have direct responsibility for growing the ETF business by partnering with internal distribution teams across UK and Ireland to develop deep relationships with institutional investors including Pensions, insurance companies, Asset Managers, Fund of funds, Discretionary Fund Managers and UK Platforms.
We are seeking an experienced ETF professional who is self-motivated and eager to represent a leader in ETF innovation. This position will be based in London.
Primary Responsibilities:
Working with the Head of the UK, Nordics and Netherlands to develop and implement the business plan for growth of JPM ETF business in the UK
Cultivate client relationships with known ETF users and diversify JPM AM’s product and client footprint in the region
Partner with the capital markets desk and local brokers to promote liquidity of JPM ETFs
Partner internally with distribution teams to develop ETF client coverage
Collaborate closely with across various teams within JP Morgan Asset Management
To ensure effective sales territory and diary management to meet activity targets and minimum client servicing requirements
Adhere to standardized sales management best practices including effective sales territory and diary management, and working to activity targets and minimum client servicing requirements
Adoption of disciplined sales management practices, including full utilization of sales management tools for effective tracking of client activity and pipeline
Manage and oversee the execution of ETF sales strategy for the UK
Partner with the Internal Sales Specialists to effectively deliver ETF resources to clients including comparative analytics, capital markets insights and actionable investment ideas.Qualifications
ETF distribution experience in the UK essential
Strong relationship management and sales skills
A strong track record of meeting commercial targets
Demonstrable experience of launching new products for a specific client base with commercial success
Excellent communication skills
Confident, self-reliant and good team player
Ability to leverage resources internally
Team player
Knowledge of pension finance, investments, fixed-income markets, equities, international, real estate, private equities, defined contribution and the state of the industry
Ability to position and differentiate the JP Morgan Active ETF product against competitor firms, Investment products, and service platforms
Effective communication across product sales team
Fluent or native English speaker is essentialThis role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
