The Wells Fargo Multi-Asset team based in Grosvenor Street, London has a new opportunity for an experienced Analyst to be responsible for assisting the team with developing and delivering customized portfolio solutions to clients. Also, supporting the portfolio managers and strategists, the incumbent will provide quantitative research, assist in developing investment strategies and asset allocation models and support sales and product development initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with solutions managers and portfolio managers to become a specialist in Wells Fargo’s Multi-Asset products and services. In time, develop relationships with clients and attend meetings as technical point of contact.
- Scientific research and quantitative analytics related to Multi Asset Solutions.
- Assist in other ad hoc risk and quant oriented tasks and projects.
- Portfolio construction using traditional risk premium, alternative risk premium and advanced beta solutions.
- Assist in the production of reports and presentation materials.
- Help with the production of ad hoc and follow up documents for products / specific clients in conjunction with the portfolio management team.
Market Skills and Certifications
Skills/Experience Required:
- Strong investment analysis and/or consulting experience with a focus on multi-asset solutions, liability driven investments, and investment strategy.
- Global experience and exposure.
- Proven experience and ability to understand portfolio construction and investment risk management.
- Strong academic background.
- CFA designation preferred
- Excellent quantitative analysis.
- Top communication, interpersonal and presentations skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to multi task is a fast paced environment.
- Commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
