2014 to Present :
Wade Rowlett Ltd – Freelance Building Surveyor
Domestic, commercial and structural Building Surveying. Schedules of Conditions, dilapidations surveys and Scott schedules prepared for commercial properties nationwide additionally negotiating terminal schedules of dilapidations. Building defects surveys and remedial schedules on Post war Non-Traditional prefabricated dwellings for Housing Associations, to include structural damage, damp and condensation. Building pathology/ defect surveys. Planned maintenance surveys. Contract supervision. Contract administration.

2010 to 2018 :
Vice Chairman of Governors – Grantham College
Responsibility for overseeing management of educational building assets, schedule of condition surveys of all aspects of estate and classrooms. Procurement of new £1 million development site and involved in appointment of design team through to tender stage of £3m project.

2003-2014:
Fairway Building Group – Founder & Managing Director
Established and developed a domestic surveying and construction business in the insurance sector. Clients include Homeserve, Cunningham Lindsey, Allianz and Zurich. Surveys and schedules of conditions to residential properties with specification of repairs, coupled with complete building repairs service.

1997-2003:
Marshalls Plc – General Manager
Responsible for Management of design, manufacturing and construction of structural composite wall panelling system for social housing. Preparation of work specifications and documentation for tendering, contract administration, contract documentation, defects and snagging. Valuations and final accounts.

1995-1997:
Kingspan Plc – Major projects Manager
Management of Europe wide commercial new build projects, values up to 5 million. Technical design of building envelope performance. Concentration on building surveying issues of very low air leakage levels, high thermal performance, thermal imaging and fire testing. Specification design and tendering of high value work packages to construct overall building envelope solutions.
1991-1995:
BLP Ltd – Senior Building Surveyor
Ground investigation and structural surveying of potential domestic subsidence claims. Monitoring and investigation of cracking to building envelopes and internal walls. Analysis of data and survey. Proposal of repairs schedule to insurers, pre-contract documentation. Tender analysis and report.
Appointment of contractor. Contract supervision, final account report and settlement.
