Leading Plant & Transport Management for Cappagh Browne Utilities and General Management for their subsidiary company Blackwater Plant Hire, servicing a five-year contract to maintain Southern Waters sewerage network. Management of two Operator Licences and five operating centres. Created, developed and implemented robust transport procedures in line with Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme requirements. Set up and manage service contracts ensuring all Blackwater Plant Hire assets are well maintained, fully utilised, and efficiently invoiced. Monitoring contract asset requirements and maximising Blackwater Plant Hire profitability by formulating business cases for capital expenditure to purchase assets for hire to the contract.

Created a robust programme of works to rescue the project and return it to schedule, unfortunately due to the extent of historical mismanagement, overspending and the company’s ability to fund and resource the work the contract could not be saved.
