To Whom it may concern

I have been fortunate enough to spend much of my career in shipping and logistics, having worked for P&O and Maersk. My time there fostered a real interest in the planning, movement and distribution of goods. Dealing with shipping agencies, freight forwarders and logistics providers enabled my skills as an analyst to develop. Alongside the role, I took a real interest in the transport of goods, watching the lorries collect and drop off containers at port side.

The transition to HGV driver was a natural progression to combine my interest in the two. My training at South East Essex College was thorough, combining classroom study, theory practice, as well as practical experience. As such, I have a thorough grounding in the role.

Having obtained my Class 1 licence, I am now looking to put my skills into the workplace.
