A Heavy Goods Vehicle Class 1 driver, having held the licence for 14 years. Within this time, I have driven a variety of goods vehicles including taut liners, flatbeds, stretched trailers, container transportation and refrigerated box trailers. These having been driven by units both manual and automatic. Collections and deliveries made to multiple locations throughout the UK.

Employed by APEX driving agency, Swineshead, Lincolnshire, for collection of refrigerated, perishable goods from Fowler Welch, Spalding for delivery to major supermarket chains RDC’s in a variety of locations within the UK.

May 2007 – Dec 2007
Employed by Sun Leisure Ltd, Boston, Lincolnshire, for collection of abnormal loads including static homes and log cabins, from locations in Hull and Yorkshire, for delivery to leisure parks within the UK. Involving the use of stretched trailers for long and wide loads.

Jan 2008 – Jul 2011
Employed by Welbourne & Sons, Boston, for collection of refrigerated poultry from a processing plant in Anwick Lincolnshire, for delivery to various RDC’s throughout the UK. Also employed for collection of containerised goods from Immingham and Felixstowe ports for delivery to various locations in the UK.

Oct 2011 – Jan 2013
Employed as a Mechanical Fitter by M&E Global Resourcing, in Kuwait, working for the USA Department of Defense, carrying out Armour and Mechanical upgrades on troop carrying vehicles prior to deployment in Afghanistan.

Employed as a Mechanical Fitter on a variety of Gas and Steam turbine Power Stations both in UK and overseas.

May 2015 – Oct 2015
HGV 1 Driver employed by Pertemps, Newcastle, at Port of Tyne, South Shields and DHL Prudhoe. Driving curtain siders and containerised collections and deliveries to and from local and national locations within the UK.

May 2016 – Aug 2016
Self employed, Ltd Coy, as a HGV 1 Tramper Driver for CCR Solutions, Boldon, for Ward Bros and LV Shipping, Middlesborough, on curtain siders and containers with collections and deliveries from Teesport, Middlesborough and locations nationwide.

Jan 2017 – Mar 2018
Self employed, Ltd Coy, for Velocity Driving Agency as a HGV 1 Driver on Refrigerated box body trailers for delivery and collection of perishable goods to Regional Distribution Centres of major supermarket chains in locations in the south west of England.

Apr – Jun 2018
Ltd Coy HGV 1 Driver on Tipper trucks running Bio Mass into Lynemouth Power Station from Port of Tyne. Collect and deliver coal from Open Cast mine to Port of Blyth.
