•Responsible for 26 tractor units, 80 trailers, 23 rigid trucks including 3 tail lift trailers and a department of over 80 employees.

•Overall running of a depot employing over 60 employees

•Ensure all freight is loaded in accordance with ADR Regulations.
•Ensure all next day and timed deliveries are routed on time.
•Maintenance of all vehicles on a 6 week service cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
•Overall responsibility for management of the transport function that cover 7,500 square miles, 85 vans and in excess of 100 drivers both employed and sub-contracted. Over 9,000 deliveries are
made on a weekly basis.
•Effectively controlled £1.5M Transport Budget through series of company and departmental KPI’s.
•Helped AAH become the first company to achieve the FTA’s Van Excellence award in 2011.
•Ensuring the fleet of 85 transit vans, two 38 tonne tractor units with three 45 foot trailers and two 17 tonne rigids in maintained and serviced correctly.

•Managed all regulatory and statutory requirements for the transport function. This included all service and repair activities which were authorised by myself.
