I am flexible, reliable and possess excellent time and attendance keeping skills. I am also a dedicated, organized and methodical individual. Employment History

Morrisons : 2000-2005

I started Morrison’s Part time while I was attending Northampton college. I then went full time 2 years later where I became a shift supervisor in the warehouse department. My main duties was to lead a team of 10 members of staff and making sure  the loads were tipped in a safe and timely manner to ensure the product were available for the customers. I would also be in charge of ordering the stock and conducting weekly stock takes.

Howden Joinery : 2005-2008

I went to howden joinery due to a significant pay increase and a chance to get more MHE license. While working here I obtained my reach truck, counterbalance and my VNA licence. My main duties were picking and making sure all orders were correct and ready for the loading team. Once I gained my Counterbalance licence I joined the loading team with our main objective to make sure the loads were loaded safely and strapped safe ready for the drivers in the morning. I then became a team leader which would include daily briefs to the team and include behavioral observations and near miss reports.

GE Lighting : 2008-2011

I went to GE Lighting after I passed my HGV Class 1 and 2 licence. Working for GE Lighting I would travel all over the country whether it being single drop or multi drops I would make sure I delivered on time and as safely as possible. After 2 years I became a driving lead which would mean if i wasn’t out doing my delivery runs I would be doing driving assessments on fellow drivers. After 3 years I was made redundant.

Travis Perkins

Front line manager: 2011-Present

After I was made redundant I decided to go to Travis Perkins. I started off on the agency where after 8 weeks got took on full time. I then got made up to a team leader for 1 year then got promoted to a supervisor 2 years later. After a year of being a supervisor the role changed to a Front Line Manager.

 

My role is to lead effectively a team of 30-35 members of staff. Within this role I deliver team briefings, Encourage my team to deliver high standards of work, Following health and safety and maintaining standards of hygiene. I am responsible for working to meet targets in a fast moving warehouse environment. I have conducted appraisals and performance management reviews and encourage the team to help deliver targets.

At present my role is a night shift section leader and my day to day duties include
