·      Operating and managing diverse and complex IT control systems, modern storage solutions and operate various mechanical handling equipment which requires a high level of concentration.
·      Responsible for the distribution, accounting, stock levels and statistical trending of a wide range of commodities such as aircraft parts, fuels, explosives, ammunition and many other materials.
·      Responsible for the control and issue of over 2.8 million litres of aviation and ground fuels, completing routine daily quality assurance checks on the fuel to ensure it is within the required specifications. Completing paperwork surrounding this and updating the IT fuels system.
·      Responsible for ordering, handling and issuing compressed gasses to meet station requirements.
·      Responsible for the collection and storage of hazardous waste, where waste is segregated whilst the correct protocol is followed for correct and safe disposal.
·      Responsible for staying vigilant for long periods of time during the day and night combat training exercises with live weapon system, following strict health and safety protocols.
·      Responding to unplanned emergencies following safety guidelines specifically when completing combat training and specialist fuels training.
·      Obeying the rules and responsibilities of The Royal Air Force.
·      Becoming self-disciplined and hard working.
·      Being part of the spill response team, to deal with fuel spills on station.
Key Achievements:
·      Completed 10 weeks of intense basic training at RAF Halton.
·      Completed 13 weeks of supply trade training.
·      Deployed to the Falkland Islands for 4 months where I worked within Aviation fuels.
·      Represented station at the RAF Clay Pigeon shooting championships.
