Lowestoft based company that manufacturers horticultural and sporting equipment.
I have worked at Harrod UK Ltd for the last 5 years and have gained valuable experience working in different environments. These include: spray line, manufacturing, loading bay, woodshed and packing as well as maintaining and operating a £60k spray booth used for powder coating various sports and horticultural steel and aluminium products.
Used heavy machinery including a 2 Tonne hoist to transport heavy products into a 10-foot degreasing
tank. Using computer programmes to adjust stock, performances, time sheets, packing bulks of products to meet lorry deadlines
Within the company we are encouraged to come up with ideas to improve performance.
I proposed a new process that saved company £50k+ annually by taking control and managing spray line production and supervising semi-skilled operatives. This resulted in me;
• Implementing new design methods of production to increase production speed.

• Designing new storage process to allow more stock to build up to allow for production

CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)

The Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC) is a qualification for professional bus, coach and lorry drivers. It has been introduced across Europe with the professed aim of improving road safety and helping to maintain high standards of driving.
