Role and Responsibilities
• Deliver heavyweight pallets and bulk deliveries around the north east and planning my route in the most effective way

• I’ve covered many different kinds of routes and areas that have been good to test my adaptability and time management.

• In addition, I was responsible for helping to train new members of staff.
• I was identified by my manager as having the key skills to help set up a new store in York that was previously a franchise and not operating to the expected standard. I was responsible for reorganizing the stockroom and assisting new members of staff. I found it really rewarding to be a part of the whole process and to see the store turnaround to become one of the chains flagship stores.

Role and Responsibilities:
• Whilst being employed at Homebase I worked in a variety of roles such as sales assistant, working in the warehouse and on the shop floor dealing with various customers queries. I worked in a number of different stores in the local area giving them my support and knowledge when they had staff shortages.
• I also carried out a number of tasks for the management team, for example improving the stores appearance for which I received recognition for my work.
• Whilst working at Homebase I also received a 100% in a mystery shopper visit, which was in relation to good customer service that I provided, this was the first time that 100% had been achieved at the store.
