I am writing to apply for the HGV Class Tramper role. I believe I would be an excellent candidate for this opportunity.

I have recently qualified as a Class 1 HGV driver and have also gained my CPC and digital tachograph card and am now eager to use my new skills to take on a role within the logistics sector. I am currently working as a driver/industrial cleaner in which I drive regionally across the UK to different branches of a food chain to clean their ovens and vents. I am a confident driver and feel at ease when required to drive long distances and to new locations. I have been praised by my HGV trainers on my calm demeanour and how I stay clear headed in stressful situations, they have also commended me on my natural abilities for HGV driving. My previous job roles have allowed me to gain experience in working on my own for long periods of time and feel comfortable doing this on a regular basis. My previous work as a police detective involved me needing to be observant and focused for long intervals and to remain vigilant. I feel that these skills and attributes would make me a good candidate for this role and would love to be given to opportunity to show you my strengths.

I currently have my full, UK driving licence as well as my C+E licence.  I am in good shape and capable of lifting heavy loads if necessary.  I am a quick learner and can pick up new routes and areas very quickly.
