Promoted as secondment to cover the role of DC Manager and take on the responsibility of running the Jack Wills Multichannel Operation through their peak period. Together with a team of 330 staff
I successfully serviced the demands of 100 stores worldwide, whilst staying within budget, beating my UPMH target and holding the fulfilment rates between above 98-100%. Equally to the demand of
the store fulfilment, online orders and wholesale made up 40% of the operation.

I had the O Licence responsibility of 52 vehicles and complete management of 69 staff. On a daily basis, my duties included overseeing the daily operation aided by Isotrak and TMS and monitoring
the service and MOT of vehicles, using the R2C software. The back office functions include, managing time and attendance and running the depot’s payroll using Kronos software. I had a weekly set
of KPI’s with tight cost control and control payment to suppliers by raising purchase orders through the P2P SAP software. Employee engagement is a key part of my responsibility by chairing
regular drivers meetings and organising objectives and appraisals for my 5 direct reports.

This role was a venture in to new industry by running their work wear laundry transport operation. The fleet comprised of 30 x 7.5t delivery vehicles, 10 x 3.5t vehicles and 10 x company cars. I
managed the operation efficiently with ease and provided full support in their full rebrand and restructure of the Wakefield plant.
Depot Manager, Aspray 24
July 2010 – July 2013
I was responsible for the 24/7 operation of a parcel delivery and logistics service based in Featherstone. Aspray primarily delivers cartons and pallets in the B2B industry providing a next day,
pre noon, pre 10 and pre 9 service. The role is very hands on and requires long hours and strong, strategic people management skills. Around 50 staff and 30 vehicles from 7.5 ton to 38 ton consist
of the depot operation.
