• These included research buildings, The Strand Building and Guys St Thomas hospital to name a few.

• This was carried out on a room by room basis, noting any defects within the structure or fabric of the building under survey.
• I followed this up with a report, highlighting the defects and using P.B.’s schedule of rates, was able to put a cost to restore the defective item back to its new condition

• I was initially employed to Price incoming work & tenders which came to the company.
• My duties included: pricing works in the region of £2000.00 – £1.5Million.
• These mainly came from Universities (Royal Holloway, Harrow).
• The works mainly comprised of refurbishment works such as, office fit-out and relocations, development of the biology annex within the grounds of Royal Holloway, and many smaller projects.
• I was also instrumental with the company pricing DDA works for the local area, of which I managed to win for the firm along with administering the contract, purchasing the materials and issuing instructions to the labour force.
• I was mainly employed to price incoming works but found me involved with all projects, which, were won by me through tendering, as I was the aware of the project from its inception and usually to completion.
• I have also been involved with Fire protection upgrade within community centres around Brent and UCL College within central London.
• Along with the above, my Building Surveying talents were called into play by means of carrying out a number of surveys for the company, such as a total roof survey for the Central Foundation School for Girls in E. This particular phase involved the upgrade of the electrical supply to the floor, installation of computer cabling, office furniture and fittings.
• The work had been tine critical and had to be finished to receive new students for the start of the new academic term.
• The works were completed within the eight -week periods and within the £120,000 contract value.
• Along with the above-mentioned projects, I managed a number of smaller refurbishments to various campus buildings, laboratories, lecture halls, etc.
