I started working for batleys when an oppertunity came my way to be a multi drop 18tn driver.
In the time I worked for batleys my duties included the loading of my own vehicle on a morning and the organizing of my own route depending if i would like to change it around. making up to 30 drops per day myself to schools, restaurant’s shops, and other local businesses giving me great knowledge of the North Easts road networks for heavy/tall.

J R Holland – Holland, UK

February 2017 – June 2017

I worked for this company shortly after passing my Class 2 test as a multi drop driver to schools and restaurant’s around the north east with fresh fruit and veg.
My duties included handling food products of all different kinds. Picking the stock and loading it onto the wagon in the correct order so that each customer gets the correct stock.
PCV driver
Go North East PLC – Peterlee
April 2009 to February 2017
with over eight years driving experience based at the Peterlee depot, holding a full manual driving licence with no penalty point.
In the time I have been with the company, I have created a bond of trust between myself and the depot management and with the other drivers, on many occasions other drivers have asked me for help or general advice with problems they have during there working day, and I am more than willing to assist where I can.
I have also on many occasions worked additional hours when required, due to staff shortages and short notice absences to ensure the smooth running of the depot, as working extra hours is not a problem.
Production Operative
Tacle Seating UK LTD – Fence Houses, UK
July 2008 to February 2009
Rainton Bridge Industrial Estate
Fence Houses
Whilst working within tacle seating I found this to be a great experience that I enjoyed. It was a very fast lively environment to produce the seats for brand new cars made by Nissan. Every day was always different finding myself working on different stages of seat production, dealing with new problems and new equipment developing my skills more each day.
The experience and skills I had developed from doing many different jobs with the company, on many occasions when new members of staff started working there, management placed them with me on the production line for training.
