I am writing to express my interest in your Fashion and Art Shoot Makeup Artist.

I have a degree in Makeup and Hair Design from Southampton Solent University and throughout my study, as well as my freelance experience, I have exceptional makeup application skills and can confidently cater to a range of skin tones and textures. Both which I would love to continue to develop through this opportunity. My diverse make-up ability is showcased in my portfolio and ranges from bright and colourful editorial makeup to natural camera-ready makeup both of which I am passionate about. I believe that this range of skills  will allow me to transition into a makeup artist for fashion and art shoots.

Since graduating from university, I have continued to create high-standard industry looks on a freelance basis. These positions include a makeup artist at Cheshire Fashion Week and for a CWT Mental Health Film. During both of these roles, I was required to work as part of a team, aiding my communication and people-skills which are key in excelling as a fashion and art makeup artist.

I would relish this opportunity as I am keen to work within fashion and art as a makeup artist. My imagination, artistry, and work-ethic are all key skills imperative in carrying out this role. I am based in Bristol, but am keen to relocate to Manchester to embrace this opportunity and to kickstart my career as a makeup artist.
