My role in this job was to complete vehicle checks every morning. Shifts were 3am starts till 600/1700 6 days a week
Following paperwork given to you each morning with each shop to deliver both ambient and frozen goods.
This was a short term contract

Hgv class 2 multi drop driver, temp controlled
Henry colbecks (agency) – Gateshead
August 2017 to March 2018
After carrying out daily vehicle checks I would collect paperwork work for the day which would have all chip shops and addresses that I would deliver to that day.
This could vary from Berwick to York and include up to 35 drops per day. This would include a lot of frozen produce which would need a printout at every shop to verify the temp.
This was agency work so was only temp

Class 2 Driver
Vehicle Movements – Newcastle upon Tyne
May 2017 to August 2017
This job was to work nationwide picking up and delivering vehicles and dropping off to various garages and compounds around the country. Stringent checks were needed when picking cars up to make sure that the cars were in pristine condition. All paperwork was to be completed by both myself and customer when pick up and drop off. I had to stay away from home between 2 and 4 days per week as following my driving time regulations. This job was only short term to cover sick.

My duties were to drive a rigid car transporter completing all checks and reporting faults when necessary. I would load vehicle with 5 cars ensuring care was taken with vehicles, then would strap down with ratchet straps 3 on each car, then take to destination with log books and any relevant paperwork. You would ring up transport manger when you had dropped off cars to receive your next job, which would be any garage around the north east. You would then head to your destination pick up vehicles then head back to Wilsons depot. This was only a short term contract to cover sick, I thoroughly enjoyed this job and would jump at chance to do this sort of work again.

Sunderland Council – Sunderland
July 2016 to February 2017
I started off on summer duties within the council duties included driving ride on grasscutters and general maintenance of the parks. I was also trained on the gully wagon which drove around the roads clearing all the drains. From October a switched to winter duties which was all about driving the gritters. This was on a 7 day 12 hours a day shifts. My duties were to wait until u received phone call to go out then drive gritter to grit depot fill up with digger which I was trained on, then to go around your set route gritting the roads, then you would clean down gritter and wait for next call

CF Motoring Services – Blaydon-On-Tyne
December 2015 to July 2016
During my time at CF my job entailed driving a 12 ton flat bed lorry. Recovering vehicles around the north east and sometimes dispatch around the country. I passed all of my IVR training which enables me to recover vehicles anywhere in the world. I would work on a 24 hour call out 3 days on 2 days off rota. Whilst at work I would receive a job on my handheld PDA which would tell me location and type of recovery needed. I would drive to location of vehicle and proceed to recover using different straps, strops, chains etc. The vehicle would then be winched onto back of the lorry to be taken to the destination of choice.

November 2015 to December 2015
My duties include daily vehicle checks complying with VOSA. I would collect data sheets telling me what packages to put on 18 ton vehicle and in what order enabling enough room for tail lift jobs. The job would entail various multi drops around the north east area. When I got to location and package was delivered all the relevant paperwork was filled in by myself and recipient. Once all packages were delivered then I would receive phone call off transport office giving me packages to pick up at various destinations around the north east. These would be returned to the depot.
