I would like to submit my application for the position of HGV Class 2 Driver job . Please find my attached cv for reference below .

Whilst I have little experience driving heavy good vehicles I do have experience of assisting drivers via vehicle escort, taking deliveries, banksman and assisting on weighbridge. I am also hold a current first aid certificate from British Red Cross.

I have spent the last few years raising the money whilst working full time to enable me to take the necessary steps to pass my HGV Class 1,2 qualification.

I have worked a lot of the North East covering areas from Berwick upon Tweed, Hexham, Gateshead, Newcastle, Durham, Teesside, Saltburn and Loftus. Covering such a large area has gave me a good sense of direction. Traveling safely from site to site and within the law has always been important even in pressured emergency situations.

I have held a full driving license for 16 years. I have had no speeding or driving convictions.

Please consider my qualifications for this position:-

* A valid CPC

* UK digital Tachograph training

* Inspecting vehicles on a daily basis to ensure road worthy, cleanliness and presenting a professional image of the company.

* Security patrols to ensure safe and secure.

* Driving in a challenging environment in a quarry.

* Driving Bowser.

* First aid certificate

I have worked tirelessly towards achieving my recent Class 1 driving qualification, finding the written aspects a little challenging due to being dyslexic but I’m now eager to start in this career.

I am willing to start as a class 2 position and work my way up. I am used to working long hours both day and night.
