I have considerable experience, gained both from working collaboratively within a large team of drivers and also working by myself. Within my previous positions goals and deadlines change regularly and so I must ensure that I am flexible and adaptable. Responsibilities
Working as a Bus and Coach driver has given me extensive experience in customer service and satisfaction skills. One of my main responsibilities is to ensure customer satisfaction by watching out for danger zones that may result in dissatisfaction. Also to be aware of opportunities to perform better ensuring that maximum productivity is met by adjusting schedules.
I have been responsible for balancing cash deposits on a daily basis within the Bus Driver aspect of my career and also larger deposits, invoicing and reconciliation within the Coach Driver aspect of my career.
I have also been responsible for planning routes not just within the UK but also Europe. This included planning the most efficient routes, ensuring that I meeting timing requirements and also co-ordinating stop offs and finish times. These skills are easily adaptable to general logistics and distribution work.
Administration skills have also been gained by balancing my own cash deposits, co-ordinating the requirements of my employer with the requirements of my customers, keeping accurate expenses records and co-ordinating routes and timetables.
