I was the departmental manager of the asset management function comprising a team of technical managers, surveyors, building services engineers, estimators and CAD operators. Responsible for delivering asset condition surveys, developing scope of work requirements for major contract change and lifecycle works, budget costing proposals and implementation of both annual and five yearly maintenance plans for lifecycle works up to £10 million in capital expenditure. I was also responsible for compliance management of the estate against statutory standards and corporate governance and acting as the Deputy for the Estates General Manager when required.
