This new satellite TV channel launched Sep 2010 with an annual budget of 1.2 million and I have been there since its inception as one of the main project managers. There are 7-8 different trustees
and many executive members so co-ordination and passing of information is crucial.
• Managed 22 staff worldwide and managed multiple projects.
• Planning and Organising staff to cover various programs at different locations.
• Controlling staff holidays and liaising with freelancers to cover busy periods.

Infrastructure Projects.
Set-up Studios in Birmingham, Paris and London and organise opening ceremonies.

• European countries- Travelling to Italy, Spain, Belgium and France to project manage production of shows and documentaries. Projects were 2-3 weeks long and budget was £2-3k for each. Nearly all
produced to time and budget.
• India – Managed production and broadcasting of three documentaries. Not only were these delivered on time but I also managed to raise money through sponsorship. Deadline was 2 months and budget
10k. Managed within £8k.
Event Management
• Have organised many events for the charity to raise funds and celebrate different occasions.
Crisis Management
• Urban Riots – London and Birmingham – Sangat TV won accolades for our daring live broadcasts. I managed the team and arranged for live coverage to be broadcast on YouTube.
• Key focus was reporting whilst managing all the risks i.e., of getting attacked.
• I also took representatives from BBC, Channel4 and Al Jazeera channels out with us so that they learnt how we operated and covered the riots live.
