Technical Work Experience
Summer 2019 Programming Studentship with the UCL Mechanical Engineering Department. Bloomsbury, London
This involved interviewing a client to fully understand their current issues with the data analysis of attendance records before coding a data analysis and email automation program using python3 and producing a detailed instruction set to be used by the client.
This programme successfully reduced the data analysis process duration by 70% and streamlined the process allowing the department to instead use that time doing other pressing tasks, and also greatly improved my coding aptitude.
March 2014 Work Experience placement with Lakehouse Construction. London
This placement involved the shadowing of a building surveying manager working for the construction company Lakehouse, who boasted a revenue of over £100 million at the time. I was also assigned to other departments such as the archiving department where I single handed documented and sorted through 2 years of documents in 2 days.
I also was assigned to the main office and tasked with designing a new advertising campaign for the company to increase awareness of apprenticeships in school leavers which impressed the management so much I was invited to attend and contribute to management meetings and help conduct hiring interviews.
Other Work Experience
Summer 2016-December 2019 Bartender/ Bar Supervisor working for UCL Students’ Union bar. Bloomsbury, London
To supplement my living costs during my time at university I have worked part time at the UCL students’ union bars and was promoted to supervisor as one of the longest serving employees during the summer. During my time I have trained over 30 staff which is especially difficult as this has to be done during busy and loud shifts. I helped significantly reduce the amount of drinking during shifts by casual staff and a general increase in quality of service. I have since withdrawn from the role from to concentrate on my studies.

Personal Interests
During my second year of A-levels, I undertook the challenge of self-teaching the AS further maths course to better prepare myself for my university course and obtained the maximum A-grade.
I was voted in as the secretary and vice president for the University of London Lacrosse Club for the upcoming academic year and am a major player for the 1st team at UCL despite only starting lacrosse at the beginning of my second year.
Also during my time at university, I have been put into many challenging situations such as delivering pitches and working in teams with people I have never met to tackle difficult problems and devise compelling solutions, notably in once such an inter-departmental challenge I excelled so much I was directly asked to be a teaching assistant for the challengers next year.
I have also done a lot of charity work most notably, last year I took part in the biggest tree-planting event in Europe and had the chance to meet Sadiq Khan.
I have a driver’s license and over 2 years worth of driving experience.
