I am a hardworking bus driver, offering 16 years of experience. I hold a PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) driving license and also CPC license (Certificate of Professional Competence) with all up-to-date training. I have worked in company like Courtney coaches and Arriva company.

I have worked as a bus driver for long time and I enjoy my job. I have a comprehensive visual memory and excellent sense of direction and good sense of my local area. I have an excellent communication skill and I enjoy meeting different people, seeing different places in work. I always plan my time well and prioritise all the planned routes. I ensure I always take safety persuasions allowing to drive smoothly and safety and maintaining passenger’s safety at all times. I always ensure that I maintain high standard of customer service at all times.

WORK HISTORY

·        PCV Bus driver from 02/2005 till currently

·        I worked as PCV driver in Courtney Coaches since 2005 till 2010.

·        I worked as PCV driver in Arriva company since 2010-until now

·        I am still a full-time worker in Arriva company.

·        I am an ex-Gurkha served in army for 16 years.

PCV duties

Responsible for driving bus in safe and considerate manner to number of pre-arranged routes.

·        Operating the bus and following the correct time schedule.

·        Taking fares from passengers, issuing them with tickets and giving back change.

·        Ensuring bus is cleaned end of the shift, in preparation for next shift.

·        Completing all necessary paperwork at the start and during and end of shifts.

·        Transporting passengers with disabilities in a respectful and helpful manner. Assisting elderly passenger getting in and out.

·        Willing to cover shifts at short notice if another operator calls in sick.

·        Greeting passenger and answering their questions and ensuring their safety at all times during travel.

·        Reporting to senior managers of any accidents or incident that occur during the journey.
